Summary
To support the activities of the Everyday SQUARES team through project coordination and execution to achieve market and consumer objectives. Provide administrative support for key Ghirardelli Marketing activities.
Responsibilities
1. Join the Everyday SQUARES team in managing the product line to meet volume and profit objectives.
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing plans, including trade and consumer promotions, packaging development, new product development, product improvements, point of purchase activity and public relations outreach.
- Initiate ideas to further build the business.
2. Conduct quantitative analysis to understand business drivers
· Assist in analyzing business performance, market data and consumer research to understand business drivers, to develop data-driven recommendations to grow the business, and to develop strategic presentations.
3. Build relationships throughout the company
- Develop solid working relationship with cross functional counterparts to successfully provide project leadership to meet business goals.
4. Provide administrative support to the Marketing department
· Coordinate monthly market data updates to track business performance.
· Support Marketing department with project coordination (i.e. coordinating in store demos, coordinating accurate and timely development of POP materials, racks and packaging materials by acting as liaison between Marketing and outside vendors.)
· Coordinate new product development activity: Maintain all key documents with current information and status, manage the monthly timeline of approvals from Management Team and the product development sub-team, including working with Brand Managers to coordinate timely release of information and scheduling meetings.
- Receive and process requests for Corporate donations.
- Maintain shared marketing files (licensing, market research)
Skills Required
· Strong oral and written communication skills.
· Highly organized; detail oriented.
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Ability to quickly change priorities and handle competing priorities
· Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization and with external customers or employees of our parent company, Lindt
· Analytical skills
· Computer literacy: Advanced in Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook
· Ability to work overtime at peak periods
Education and Experience
· BA/BS from top 25 school, Related experience and/or training a plus.
Working Conditions
· Sits, using computer or telephone 80% of time.
· Moves around 20% of the time.
· Ability to travel to various locations across the country or local travel to meetings.
· Administrative work comprises ~30% of time.
